Editing

We remove mouth noise, background noise, false starts & errant words like: ‘um’, ‘uh’, and ‘you know’. We reduce long pauses and fix poor pacing.

Mastering (14 Step Process)

1 – 2. We apply noise reduction to remove ‘hiss’ and loud sound floor
3 – 6. Compression (we use 4 different compressors and limiters over the course of the mastering process)
7-8. Both restorative and enhancing equalization
9. De-esser (to reduce harsh sibilance from overly loud consonants)
10. Stereo Imaging (to widen the soundfield and maximize the podcast’s aural presence in any speaker system, big or small)
11. Normalization (maximize the overall volume to broadcast standards)

Presentation

12. We add intros and outros to the beginning and end of the podcast
13. We add commercials, music beds and other provided content
14. We ID3 tag your finalized podcast, optimized for ITunes exposure

Intro / Outro Creation

• We create intro and outro segments using a script you provide
• We record the dialogue using professional voice over talent
• We mix and master the recorded script with royalty free music (or music you provide **AND have the publishing rights to**)

Podcast Publishing and Transcription

• We create a show summary of original content- a few paragraphs creatively written to entice potential listeners to click ‘play’ and tune in to the podcast itself.
• Bullet points: a short list that highlights the key messages from the podcast as well as a list of people mentioned in the show.
• We provide a list of hyperlinks to websites (people, places and resources) mentioned in the show.
• A full transcription of the entire show (that content is added to the podcast’s page, and provided as a downloadable PDF)
  ***Disclaimer: The transcription fee is good for up to 45 minutes of show run time. Any show run time that supersedes 45 minutes in length will be subject to additional fees (the amount of which is dependant on the show’s total run time over the 45 minute cap).
